According to the WTTC 2018 Economic report, 6,5% of all employment on the continent is in the tourism sector, and with a projected growth rate above many other industries, is poised to absorb much of the youth labour force abundant in Africa where 10 to 12 million young people join the labour market every year. The panel will explore how industry could scale up youth employment and ensure we support the emergence of strong leaders for the sector in the next decade.
